This family album is a private home recording project and has been a labour of love over the last five years. The concept was to revisit songs from our collective past that were popular in our household at one point or another.

We’re all singers and each one of us contributed to this collection by choosing to record traditional folk ballads, old-time pop tunes mixed together with a few contemporary songs.

We dedicate this recording to our five grandchildren, a few of you now young adults. If you’re ever feeling lonely or in need of some musical comfort, the Grunsky’s have got you covered.

A huge thanks to Hertha, Carina, Cosima and the young ones for all your wonderful performances.
